NEWARK, NJ – Fall sports schedules are posted, and the FieldTurf surface replacement for Alumni Field is being completed today!

Workers inserted the Rutgers-Newark "R" at midfield this afternoon to complete the replacement of the 3-year-old synthetic surface.

Men's soccer, women's soccer, women's volleyball, women's tennis, men's cross country and women's cross country face challenging slates which begin with an action-packed opening day.

On September 1, women's tennis takes on The College of New Jersey on The Golden Dome Courts at 4 p.m. while the Scarlet Raider women's volleyball squad kicks off its season simultaneously against Vassar in The Golden Dome Arena. Women's soccer hosts Mount St. Vincent at 6 p.m. with the Scarlet Raider men facing Farmingdale State at 8 o'clock on Alumni Field.
