Jumpers by sophomore forward Micaela Moore and Milne in the opening minute and a half of the second half sliced the Raiders advantage to 30-29, but the Roadrunners never gained the lead.

Rutgers-Newark answered with an 8-0 run which was started and finished by Nieves buckets to take charge at 38-29 with 15:14 left.  Ramapo trimmed its deficit to three three times down the stretch, but the Raiders never buckled before pulling away to their biggest lead of the night at the finish.
