MORRISTOWN, NJ – Rutgers-Newark used a balanced attack to rally for a 3-1 win over the College of St. Elizabeth in St. Joseph's Hall. Game scores were 19-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-22.

Sharee Gordon and freshman right side
Tabitha Davis dominated the net to help the Scarlet Raiders (6-11) take their second win in three matches. The Golden Eagles slipped to 11-14.
Gordon posted a team-high 12.5 points with seven solo blocks, three blocking assists and four kills while Davis notched a dozen points on six kills, five solo blocks and two blocking assists. Gordon and Davis posted career highs for solo and total blocks.
Freshman middle blocker
Christina Maglione had eight kills, an ace, two solo blocks and a pair of blocking assists for 12 points while freshmen
Adrianna Pagnotta and
Veronica Chau each totaled nine points. Pagnotta had nine kills while Chau notched seven kills and a pair of aces. Chau also came up with 14 digs.
Senior libero
Paulina Walega recorded 30 digs for the second match in a row while freshman outside hitter
Hannah Riede contributed five kills and a solo block.
Freshman setter
Emilie Pulecio distributed 14 assists and roped two aces while rookie setter
Kathy Hormaza added 11 assists.
Senior middle blocker Subhana Wrights hammered down a match-high 19 kills for St. Elizabeth while freshman outside hitter Kiana Cunningham chipped in eight kills while getting in on three blocks. Senior setter Cheyenne Grant tallied 32 assists and five kills while getting in on two blocks.
Rutgers-Newark finishes a three-matches-in-three-days stint by visiting New Jersey Athletic Conference leader Richard Stockton (22-5, NJAC 5-0) on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
