GALLOWAY, NJ – Rutgers-Newark fell to Richard Stockton, 3-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match in the RSC Sports Center. Game scores were 25-11, 25-10, 25-11.

Paulina Walega paced the Scarlet Raiders (7-12, NJAC 0-6) with four kills apiece as the Ospreys (23-5, NJAC 6-0) ran their current winning streak to 18 and their string of wins against NJAC opponents to 38.
Freshmen
Christina Maglione and
Adrianna Pagnotta had two kills apiece as the Raiders were limited to just 15 kills and one block by Stockton. Chau had eight digs and Walega and Pagnotta added seven each for Rutgers-Newark.
Senior opposite Nicole Serekian, freshman opposite Lindsay Schuele and freshman middle hitter Idi Uffen had seven kills apiece while each played in just two games. The trio combined for 21 kills with just one error on 33 attacks to help Stockton hit a crisp .474 (46 kills, 10 errors, 76 attacks).
Rutgers-Newark hosts non-conference matches against Lehman College on Monday and the College of New Rochelle on Tuesday – both at 7 p.m. – in The Golden Dome.
