Box Score 2 MAHWAH, NJ – Rutgers-Newark rallied for a late 5-5 tie in game two, but Ramapo College bounced back for a 10-2 and 11-5 New Jersey Athletic Conference sweep. 
IN GAME TWO, Rutgers-Newark jumped on the Roadrunners for three runs on four hits in the top of the sixth with the tying run scoring on a wild pitch before Ramapo answered with the decisive runs in the bottom of the frame. 
In the sixth, senior shortstop 
Tiara Santi singled and senior catcher 
Gabby Spinella doubled to set up a sacrifice fly by senior first baseman 
Liane Drastal.  Sophomore second baseman 
Kelsey Lucas singled in the second run and advanced to second on a throw to the plate.  After a bunt single by freshman centerfielder 
Eleni Lutas put runners on the corners, Lutas stole second.  Lucas came home from third on a wild pitch. 
Ramapo erupted for six runs on seven hits in the bottom of the sixth against freshman starter 
Katie Boyd and senior reliever 
Brianna Alicchio. 
Boyd delivered a 2-out, 2-run single in the fifth inning to bring Rutgers-Newark to within a run.  Drastal and Lucas singled for the Raiders to lead off the inning before the moved into scoring position on a ground ball out by Lutas. 
Santi and Lucas had two hits apiece to pace the Raiders' 9-hit attack. 
IN GAME ONE, junior third baseman 
Toniann Donde went two for three and ignited a 2-run rally for the Raiders in the third inning to make it a 3-2 game. 
After a lead-off bunt single by senior 
Tina Zaggia, Donde doubled to right center field to set up an RBI ground ball to the right side by senior shortstop 
Tiara Santi.  Freshman rightfielder 
Anna Carlson followed with a single through the left side to plate Donde, but Rutgers-Newark would strand two runners. 
The Roadrunners scored seven unearned runs in the fourth inning to put the game out of reach in the 5-inning decision. 
Sophomore 
Jess Cannon (3-5) took the loss, yielding just three earned runs in 3-2/3 innings before Boyd gave up a walk, a bases-loaded triple and an RBI single. 
Senior righthander Harley Masiello (6-8) gave up five hits while striking out two and walking one for the Ramapo win.

Krista Casale notched the other Raider single. 
Rutgers-Newark (12-20, NJAC 1-11) hosts Rowan University at 2 o'clock on Alumni Field on Friday in an NJAC twin bill.
