NEWARK, N.J. (March 5, 2016) – The Rutgers University-Newark softball team will have to wait a couple of days to play its 2016 season-opener at the College of Staten Island.
 
Due to field conditions and better weather predicted early next week, Sunday's doubleheader against the Dolphins has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 8 starting at 4:30 p.m.
