John K. Adams Tip-Off Classic Program

NEWARK, N.J. (November 16, 2017) – The Rutgers University-Newark women's basketball team will host the annual John K. Adams Tip-Off Classic in The Golden Dome this weekend, welcoming Cedar Crest College, Penn State University-Abington and St. Joseph's College- Long Island to the Brick City.
 
The Scarlet Raiders play at 5:30 p.m. Friday night and 3 p.m. Saturday, doing battle with Cedar Crest to open the tournament and St. Joe's to end it.
 
John K. Adams Tip-Off Tournament
Friday – November 17
Cedar Crest vs Rutgers-Newark – 5:30 p.m.
Penn State-Abington vs St. Joe's – 7:30 p.m.
 
Saturday – November 18
Penn State-Abington vs Cedar Crest – 1 p.m.
St. Joe's vs Rutgers-Newark – 3 p.m.

All four games in the tournament will be broadcast live for those unable to attend and ticket prices are as follows:
-General Admission - $5
-Seniors/Students/Children - $3
-ANYONE WITH A RUTGERS-NEWARK ID – FREE

At the conclusion of the tournament, a John K. Adams Tip-Off Classic All-Tournament Team will be announced. The team will be made up of one player from each team and a tournament MVP from the squad with the best record (tiebreaker = point differential).
