NEWARK, N.J. (December 6, 2017) – Rutgers University-Newark will host a Family Fun Day in The Golden Dome on Saturday, December 9 in conjunction with the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) basketball doubleheader against Rutgers University-Camden.
 
The event will begin at 5 p.m. in 'The Dome' and is open to all Rutgers-Newark students, alums, staff, faculty and their families. There will fun for all including food, bouncy houses, raffles, prizes, contests, great NJAC hoops and giveaways.

Beginning at 6 p.m., Rutgers-Newark will host Rutgers-Camden in a key conference doubleheader. The women's basketball game will tip-off at 6 p.m. and the men's game follows at 8 p.m. Both teams are in action on Wednesday night at NJAC rival Ramapo College and are looking to end the 2017 portion of the 17-18 schedule strong.
 
Family Fun Day is FREE for all as entrance to the event, basketball games and parking (Deck 2) will be picked up by Rutgers-Newark. 

Fans are also encouraged to wear their favorite Rutgers-Newark gear to show their Scarlet Raider pride!
