Senior Andres Medina is the goalkeeper for the men's soccer team from Howell, NJ, who was supposed to be headed into his senior year as a Scarlet Raider. However, the season has been put on hold due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Last season, played in and started 16 games and made 81 saves while allowing 1.56 goals per game. Medina finished the season with a 7-7-2 record and four shutouts. 

Q: Why did you choose Rutgers University-Newark?

AM: I chose Rutgers University-Newark because business program and the ability to continue my soccer career at a high level 

Q: What are some of your hobbies?

AM: I enjoy listening to music and playing Fifa in my spare time. 

Q: What are some of your favorite things?

AM: Lionel Messi is my favorite player, the things he's able to do are just incredible. Avengers has to be my favorite movie and a nice medium rare steak is my favorite food.
