Women's Cross Country Takes 16th At Rowan Border Battle

GLASSBORO, NJ | The Rutgers University-Newark women's cross country squad took part in the Rowan Border Battle and took 16th with a score of 420.

Gayathri Narayanan grabbed 85th for the Scarlet Raiders with a time of 29:05.40 while Zrreyah Moore took 101st with a time of 29:55.60. Zahkyrah Carter finished in 107th after crossing the finish line in 30:58.30. Crossing two minutes later was Amber Ten Kate (121st, 32:22.60) with Chidimma Igwe crossing four minutes late with a time of 36:51.30.

Brya Byrd (143rd, 38:00.00) and Brooke Bachia (145th, 39:01.80) rounded out the race for the Scarlet Raiders.

Up next for the Scarlet Raiders is the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships on Saturday, October 30th.
