Women's Cross Country Takes 4th at Rowan Border Battle

GLASSBORO, NJ | The Rutgers University-Newark women's cross country squad finished 4th at the 2023 Rowan Border Battle this morning.

Morgan Marckres gave the Scarlet Raiders a 3rd place finish (24:45.4) which was a personal record. Stevie Tate took 15th (26:15.6) for her best time of the season. Nydia Jackson crossed the finish line in 52nd (29:59.7) while Emma Lipsky-Portales finished close behind in 53rd (30:08.0). Sara Jaquez took 56th (30:24.5) while Chidimma Igwe ran to a 58th place finish (31:00.7) and Nadya Coleman took 61st (31:10.8).
