NEWARK, N.J. - The Rutgers University-Newark women's track & field team had a stellar showing at the 2025 NJAC Outdoor Championships, with several Scarlet Raiders earning All-New Jersey Athletic Conference honors across both track and field events.
Leading the way was Zrreyah Moore, who earned First Team All-NJAC honors in the 400-meter run (55.41) and Second Team in the 200-meter dash (24.31). Moore's outstanding performances also earned her the conference's highest individual running honor: NJAC Outstanding Track Athlete of the Year, cementing her place among the elite runners in the conference.
In the field events, Fejiro Akiri was recognized twice, earning Second Team honors in the shot put (12.36m) and Honorable Mention in the hammer throw (45.72). Joining her in the throws was Shanil Auguste, who earned Honorable Mention in the shot put (12.27m), further highlighting Rutgers-Newark's growing strength in field events.
