PITMAN, N.J. – Duncan Strut has been the engine behind the NJAC's top offense. The freshman setter for the Rutgers–Newark Scarlet Raiders has been named NJAC Rookie of the Week for the sixth time this season, continuing a remarkable debut campaign.

Strut earned the honor after orchestrating one of the conference's most dynamic offenses in a statement match against No. 1 Springfield College. In a five-set battle that saw the Scarlet Raiders push the nation's top-ranked team to the brink, Strut dished out 40 assists while adding five digs and two kills. His poise and decision-making kept Rutgers–Newark in system and allowed the offense to operate at a high level against one of Division III's toughest defenses.
