PITMAN, N.J. – After a dominant week at the plate, Michael Weinbel has been named NJAC Player of the Week, powering the Scarlet Raiders to a 2-2 record with one of the most efficient hitting stretches of the season.
The standout slugger went an impressive 10-for-14 across four games, driving in five runs while crossing the plate seven times. Weinbel also showcased his power, launching two home runs as part of his stellar week. Just as notable was his discipline at the plate as he did not strike out once, consistently putting the ball in play and applying pressure to opposing defenses.
He currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in batting average, while also sitting 10th in total hits and second in home runs.
His all-around offensive performance continues to be a key factor for the Scarlet Raiders as they build momentum heading into the next stretch of the season.
