JUNIOR (2010-11): Saw action in 18 games, earning three starting assignments for the 19-8 Scarlet Raiders… averaged 4.6 points while hitting 45.8% (33-72) of his field goal tries and 39.3% (11-28) of his 3-point attempts… dished out 14 assists while making nine steals… opened the season by connecting on three of four 3-point shots on his way to 13 points while grabbing a personal-high seven rebounds in an 82-71 overtime win over Medgar Evers (11/15/10)… hit two of four treys while netting 13 points in a 95-63 win over CCNY (11/23/10)… connected on all four of his field goal tries – including a 3-pointer – for nine points in an 88-65 win over TCNJ (12/4/10).

SOPHOMORE (2009-10): Saw action in five games for William Paterson’s 25-3 NJAC Championship Team.

FRESHMAN (2008-09): Saw action in 18 games for William Paterson’s 20-7 squad which fell in the NJAC championship game to eventual national runner-up Richard Stockton.

HIGH SCHOOL: First team All-Bergen County and all-league pick as a senior at Teaneck HS, helping the Highwaymen to back-to-back NNJIL championships as a junior and senior… three-year letterwinner… averaged 18.4 points, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game as a senior on a 20-5 squad… averaged 15.6 points and 3.3 assists per game while gaining first team all-league honors as a junior on a 19-6 team… an Honor Roll Student.

PERSONAL: Majoring in criminal justice at R-N… transferred from William Paterson in the fall of 2010… son of Evelyn and Carlos Diaz… has an older sister (Lorraine)… born in Brooklyn, NY.
