PROFILE OF THE WEEK (Sept. 29, 2010)
NOTES: The most prolific player in Rutgers-Newark women’s soccer history who excelled both on the field and in the classroom… the first Raider to be named to the All-NJAC and All-ECAC Metro first teams… finished her four seasons as the R-N career record holder for points (119), goals (51) and shots (331) while ranking second in assists (17) and tied for second in game-winning goals (7)… posted five career hat tricks… shares single-game records with 12 points and five goals (twice)… set single match records for assists (5) and shots (21)… earned all three of R-N top athletics honors by being named the 2008 Female Rookie of the Year, the 2011 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the 2011 Female Co-Athlete of the Year... 2011 Rutgers-Newark NJAIAW Woman Athlete of the Year... NJAC All-Academic first team twice (2010-11 & 2011-12) after making the Honorable Mention list as a sophomore (2009-10).

SENIOR (2011): First-team All-NJAC after notching the second most points (45) and goals (21) in R-N history… second-team All-ECAC Metro pick... tied for the team lead with three assists… netted 75% (21-28) of the teams goals while having a hand in 85.7% (24-28) of the markers… fired a school-record 106 shots putting 51.9% (55-106) on goal… notches three game winning goals and was successful on both of her penalty kicks… started all 21 matches… posted a team single-match highs of 11 points and five goals in a 9-0 win over John Jay (9/26/11) while putting 10 of her school-record 21 shots on goal… registered a hat trick by scoring all three goals in a 3-2 overtime victory over Mount St. Mary (9/7/11)… scored both Raiders goals in a 2-1 win over FDU-Florham (11/5/11)… netted the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Guilford (9/2/11)… named to the Meredith College Classic All-Tournament Team after netting the Raiders’ lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Meredith (9/4/11)… scored both R-N goals in a 3-2 loss to St. Joseph’s LI (9/1/11) in the season opener… netted both R-N goals in a 3-2 loss to Rutgers-Camden (10/19/11)… scored both Raider goals in a 7-2 loss to Carthage (9/9/11)… posted the Raiders’ lone goal in losses to Old Westbury (9/14/11), Ramapo (9/24/11) and William Paterson (10/22/11) while assisting on R-N lone goals against Montclair State (9/28/11) and New Jersey City (10/12/11).
JUNIOR (2010): 2010-11 Rutgers-Newark Female Co-Athlete of the Year and Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year… first Scarlet Raider women’s soccer player to be named first team All-NJAC and All-ECAC Metro/Upstate NY squads… started in every match for R-N which finished 6-10-3 overall and 2-5-2 in NJAC play… paced the Raiders in points (24) and goals (11)… ranked eighth in the NJAC in points and points average (1.26)… was tied for sixth in NJAC in goals and ranked fifth in goals per game (.58)… 24 points tied the 10th best season total at R-N while 11 goals tied her for the fifth best output… ripped 101 shots for the second most in a season at R-N… put 37.6% of her shots on goal… posted her third career hat trick with three goals in a 5-3 victory over Ramapo (9/25)… registered the game-winning goal in the 73rd minute of a 3-1 win over New Jersey City (10/13)… opened the season with two goals in an 8-0 win over Mount St. Vincent (9/1)… notched two goals in a 4-0 decision over CCNY (10/20)… scored the Raiders’ lone goals in back-to-back double-overtime ties against Albright (9/15) and Rutgers-Camden (9/18)… scored the Raiders’ lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Oneonta State (9/5) in the championship match of the Rochester Flower City Tournament.
SOPHOMORE (2009): Honorable Mention All-NJAC after leading Scarlet Raiders in scoring (25 points), goals (11) and shots (78)… tied for sixth among NJAC players in points, goals and goals per game (.61) while ranking alone at sixth for points per game (1.39)… tied her own production from last season for the eighth best scoring season ever (25 points)… her 11 goals tied her for the fifth best season total in R-N history… her 78 shots were the second most ever by a Raider… put 48.7% (38-78) of her shots on goal… tied school record for points (12) and goals (5) in a game in an 8-2 win over CCNY (9/17/09)… tallied two goals in a 7-0 win over Medgar Evers (10/9/09)… assisted on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Richard Stockton (10/3/09)… notched goals in back-to-back wins in the Scarlet Raider Soccer Classic against Philadelphia Biblical (9/11/09) and Old Westbury (9/12/09)… netted the Raiders’ lone goals in back-to-back NJAC losses to New Jersey City (9/26/09) and William Paterson (9/30/09).
FRESHMAN (2008): R-N Female Rookie Athlete of the Year after a spectacular freshman season... All-NJAC second team as a freshman... started in all 20 matches as Raiders earned the first post-season berth in the program’s nine-year history... led the squad in assists (9) and was second in goals (8) and points (25)... posted two game winning-goals... Co-MVP of the Scarlet Raider Soccer Classic... set R-N record with five assists in a 10-0 win over Medgar Evers (9/5/08), adding a goal for seven points in the contest... turned in the 12th hat trick in Raider history with three goals in a 5-0 win over Staten Island (9/6/08)... also posted six points on two goals and two assists in an 11-0 romp over St. Elizabeth (10/22/08)... nine assists tied her for the third best single season total in the R-N books... her 25 points were the eighth highest season total in school history.
HIGH SCHOOL: All-county, all-state performer at Science Park High… four-year letterwinner and team captain… lettered four years in golf, once in bowling... women’s golf team captain for two seasons… member of the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Younger brother, Edgar, was a freshman on the R-N men's soccer team in 2011… nickname is Lily.
