SOPHOMORE (2012): NJAC All-Academic Team Honorable Mention.

FRESHMAN (2011):  Saw action in eight games as a reliever for the 23-19 Raiders… posted an 8.64 ERA while striking out six and walking six in 8-1/3 innings… did not figure in any decisions… longest stint was three full innings in a 19-11 win over Lehman (4/19/11) when he gave up one earned run, two hits and two walks while posting a strikeout.

HIGH SCHOOL: First-team All-Bergen Public School League and Honorable Mention All-Bergen County as a senior at Glen Rock HS after helping the Panthers to a BPSL championship… three-year letterman who helped senior squad to a 20-7 record… second team All-BPSL as a junior.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in business management at R-N… son of Dianne and Lou Karcanes… has a younger sister (Delaine).
