PROFILE OF THE WEEK (December 2013)
FRESHMAN (2013): Two-time NJAC Rookie of the Week… Coaches Award winner for unselfish dedication to the team... top runner for the Raiders as a freshman… top R-N finisher in six of eight meets, including the final four of the season… clocked a personal best of 27:521.47 in the 8-K to finish third overall in a field of 32 and help R-N take the team title at the Northern Grey Classic (10/5/13) to earn his first NJAC weekly honor… finished third in a field of 31 in 30:44.11 in his collegiate debut to help R-N claim the team title at the Brandywine Invitational (9/14/13)… claimed his second NJAC weekly nod by finishing 30th in a field of 104 at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial (10/12/13) in 30:22… ran a 29:40.0 to finish first on R-N squad at the NJAC Championship (11/2/13)… ran a 28:18.7 at the NCAA Atlantic Regional (11/16/13).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters at Toms River North HS… honor roll student.
PERSONAL: Son of Jennifer Fouser and Edgar Burrows… has a younger brother (Dan) and two younger sisters (Emily and Angela)… undecided on major field of study... also runs middle distance for R-N indoor and outdoor track & field teams.
