FRESHMAN (2014): Saw action in 22 matches for Lees-McRae College which posted a 12-16 record… recorded two aces, three assists and nine digs in 51 games… made dean’s list in each semester.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year All-Broward County performer at West Broward HS in Pembroke Pines (FL), helping the Bobcats to three consecutive trips to the District 10 Final Four… team MVP as a senior in 2013, helping team to district semifinals, a 13-8 record and a ranking of 22^nd in Florida… named to the Broward County Athletic Association All-Star roster as a senior… during sophomore and junior seasons was voted team’s best defensive player and Bobcats were runners-up in district with a combined record of 27-13… set school record for digs (303) and aces as a junior… led team in digs and aces each season… graduated fourth in a class of 671… member of the National Honor Society… honorable mention for the Miami Herald Silver Knight Award… an AP Scholar with Distinction.
 
CLUB: Has played with IMUA Volleyball Club since 2010 going to five USA Volleyball Junior National Championships… team earned Bronze Medal in 2012 nationals… earned Bronze Medal as a member of Team Florida at 2013 USA Volleyball International High Performance Championships.
 
PERSONAL: Transferred to RU-N in the fall of 2014 to enroll in its nationally recognized business school… majoring in accounting… son of Beth and Ron Albert… has a twin brother (Gregory) and a younger sister (Hailey)… his father and uncle (Howard Albert) are noted record producers in Miami… his aunt (Rebecca Wright) played basketball at Syracuse (1984-87).
