Biography

NOTES: Two-time Honorable Mention All-NJAC performer who ranks in virtually every offensive category in the Rutgers-Newark record book… her nine game-winning goals are a Raider career record… ranks second in school history with 30 career goals… ranks third in career points with 67… combination of strength, balance and ball-handling skills made her a mainstay on the Raider attack… one of six fourth-year seniors on Raider squad in 2007… double major in criminal justice and philosophy.


PROFILE OF THE WEEK FEATURE (Sept. 11, 2007)

 

SENIOR (2007):  Named to the Honorable Mention All-NJAC list for the second time… led team with nine goals and 21 points while chipping in three assists… had two game-winning goals…21 points tied for the 10th best single season total in school history while nine goals tied for the eighth best season total… netted three goals on just three shots in 8-0 win over St. Elizabeth (10/18/07)… tallied two goals on two shots and added an assist in the Raiders’ 9-0 win over Medgar Evers (9/8/07) in the Scarlet Raider Soccer Classic championship match… had a goal and an assist in a 9-0 win over CCNY (9/5/07).


JUNIOR: Led Rutgers-Newark in goals (8) and points (19) to put her in the school’s top 10 all-time scorer list… named to NJAC Honorable Mention List… started in all 19 matches… selected as Most Outstanding Players in the inaugural Scarlet Raider Soccer Classic… netted game-winning goals in matches against Farmingdale State (9/9/06), Ramapo College (9/23/06) and Neumann (10/4/06)… notched assists against St. Elizabeth (9/8/06), Ramapo (9/23/06) and New Jersey City (10/11/06).


SOPHOMORE: Led Rutgers-Newark in goals (11) and points (23) while starting in all 18 matches... tallied three of the Scarlet Raiders' five game-winning goals, putting in the deciding goal against Philadelphia Biblical (9/2/05), St. Joseph's of Vermont (9/11/05) and Alvernia (10/20/05)... began season with a hat trick against Philadelphia Biblical (9/2/05)... had two goals each against St. Joseph's of Vermont (9/11/05) and Alvernia (10/20/05)... also scored goals against Farmingdale State (9/3/05), Green Mountain (9/10/05), Staten Island (9/14/05) and Washington College (10/18/05)... put 47.5% of her team high 61 shots on goal.


FRESHMAN: Started in 10 of the 16 matches in which she played as a frosh... named the NJAC Rookie of the Week after netting game-winning goal at Cazenovia (9/12/04) and scored other goal against St. Elizabeth (9/25/04).


HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time team MVP and an All-Cape Atlantic Conference selection as a defender and a midfielder at Buena Regional High School under coaches Tom Ruhl and Misty Russo...team MVP and first-team all-conference pick as a senior midfielder...team MVP and all-conference first team sweeper as a junior...as a sophomore, was a second-team all-conference offensive player...also participated in track and softball in high school.
