Rutgers-Newark Athletics

JUNIOR (2011):  Started in all 19 matches, including two matches as the goalkeeper… primary defender who posted a 1-1-0 record between the pipes when injury forced her to put on the gloves… posted a 2.95 goals against average while making three saves against five goals allowed… got a win by playing the opening half of a 9-0 decision over John Jay (9/26/11) in goal… named to the all-tournament team at the Meredith College Classic.

SOPHOMORE (2010): Started in 18 of 19 matches for the Raiders who finished 6-10-3 overall and 2-5-2 in NJAC play… put 54.5% (6-11) of her shots on goal… knotted the score at 1-1 on a penalty kick in the 56th minute of a 3-2 overtime victory over St. Joseph’s (9/10)… assisted on the Raiders’ lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Oneonta State (9/5) in the championship match of the Rochester Flower City Tournament.

2009:  Sat out season with an injury.

FRESHMAN (2008): Mid-season walk on player who saw action in two matches... got into the action in wins over Old Westbury (10/11/08) and St. Elizabeth (10/22/08). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year letterwinner for Lakeland Regional… helped the team to the county and state playoffs in each of her two seasons… also lettered in track and field for two years… honor roll all four years… member of the Spanish Honor Society.

PERSONAL: has two siblings, Casandra and Carlos.
