PROFILE OF THE WEEK (September 2010)

SENIOR (2010): Played in every set for the 10-18 Raiders primarily as the libero… handled a team-high 412 serves with 83 errors (79.9%) while also leading the squad in total digs (304) and digs average (3.07)… added a dozen aces, 12 assists and eight kills… posted 13 double-digit dig matches while notching a career-high 21 digs on three occasions… had 21 digs while handling 34 of 37 serves in a 3-2 loss to Ramapo (9/16)… recorded 21 digs in a 3-0 loss to Rutgers-Camden (10/14)… also had 21 digs in a 3-0 loss to Baruch (10/28)… handled 46 serves with just three errors (93.5%) while making 13 digs in a 3-2 loss to William Paterson (9/23)… delivered four aces in a 3-0 win over Green Mountain (10/15).

JUNIOR (2008): Veteran outside hitter who led the squad in digs average (1.86) and service ace average (.50) after missing the first 11 matches of the season... was second on the squad in kills average (1.09) and third in total kills (70)... roped 32 aces in just 64 games and tallied 119 digs... totalled 103.0 points... hammered down eight kills and served a career-high seven aces while making seven digs in a 3-2 win at Rutgers-Camden (9/23/08)... recorded a career-high 14 digs and notched seven kills and three aces in a 3-0 loss to Marywood (10/25/08)... made 11 digs in 3-0 loss to Hunter (9/19/08) and a dozen digs at FDU-Florham (10/23/08) to give her three double-digit dig days.

SOPHOMORE (2007): Had a team-high 145 digs and was second in digs average (2.30) for the 3-22 Scarlet Raiders… ranked second in points (98.5), points average (1.56), kills (74) and kills average.

FRESHMAN (2006): Saw action in 21 matches during the 23-12 campaign, coming in primarily as a server and defensive specialist… served a pair of aces in a 3-0 win over Mt. St. Mary (9/3/06)… had three digs each in 3-0 wins over William Paterson (10/10/06) and John Jay (10/28/06).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athlete at Hackensack HS who was second in digs on the Comets’ 20-5 volleyball squad as a senior... also participated in track & field and wrestling as a sophomore... Honor Roll student who was listed in Who’s Who for High School Students.

PERSONAL: Returns to volleyball team after sitting out the 2009 season... born in Newark... daughter of Jean and Fernande Beljour... has four older brothers (James, Herald, Pierce and Jean) and a younger sister (Beatrice)... brother Jean finished his playing career for the Scarlet Knights football team in Piscataway in 2007.
