Al-Don Muhammad came off the bench for 11 points, five rebounds and a game-high four steals as Rutgers-Newark shut down Rutgers-Camden, 53-33, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest in The Golden Dome.

RAIDERVISION GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Scarlet Raiders (4-2, NJAC 1-1) held the Scarlet Raptors (3-2, NJAC 0-2) to just 25 per cent field goal accuracy and forced 34 turnovers to make up for 24 miscues of their own in a physical, high-energy game.
Smith had 13 points, hitting three of four from beyond the arc, in the opening half when the Raiders constructed a 34-17 lead. Muhammad notched career highs for points and rebounds while equaling his single-game best for steals in just 23 minutes on the floor.

Deshawn Singleton chipped in seven points, a team-high six rebounds, three steals, two blocked shots and a pair of assists while senior guard
De'Vion Manning added six points, three steals, three assists and a blocked shot for the Raiders.
Senior guard Joshua Askew paced Rutgers-Camden with nine points and three steals while junior center Mike Meloni hauled down a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Raiders limited Rutgers-Camden to just 11 field goals on the night and the Raptors suffered through a one-for-10 nightmare from 3-point range. Rutgers-Newark knocked down seven treys to balance out a shaky 12-for-21 performance from the free throw line.
It was the fewest points allowed this season by the Raiders, dropping their points allowed average to 60.3 per game.
Rutgers-Newark travels to Baruch on Monday for a non-conference doubleheader. The women tip off at 5:30 p.m. with the Raider and Bearcat men taking the floor at 7:30.
