MAHWAH, NJ – Junior Kevin Santos put up the best fight on the No. 1 singles court, but Rutgers-Newark suffered a 9-0 loss at Ramapo to fall to 5-5 on the season.

The Scarlet Raiders failed to win a set with an exam depleted lineup following Wednesday's 8-1 loss to the Roadrunners (8-9). 

Santos fell to Prasanna Fernando, 6-2, 7-5, but the rest of the Raiders managed to win just 14 games in the contest. Junior Brian Barbera lost to Anthony Jelderks, 6-2, 6-4.
