Rachel Witt led Rutgers-Newark with 15.0 points, but the Scarlet Raiders fell to Rutgers-Camden, 3-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match. Game scores were 25-11, 25-22, 25-18.

Toni Moppert was tied for match-high honors in kills with 10. She also added an ace, an assisted block and eight digs.
Freshman outside hitter
Ula Nieznalska contributed eight kills and an ace for the Raiders while senior libero
Rose Anna Beljour equaled her career-high in digs with 21 tying the total that she set in five games in a 3-2 loss to Ramapo on September 16.
Junior setter
Gabi Mangieri chipped in 10 assists and nine digs. The Raiders played without senior middle blocker
Crystal Navarro who was nursing an ankle sprain suffered in practice.
Freshman middle hitter Chelsea Schmotzer paced a balanced Scarlet Raptor attack with 10 kills while sophomore setter Stephanie Miller notched 27 assists to reach the 1,000-assist plateau for her career.
The Scarlet Raiders (6-14, NJAC 1-6) lost their third straight while the Scarlet Raptors (12-11, NJAC 5-1) set school records for overall and conference wins in a season.
Rutgers-Newark hosts Green Mountain and Brooklyn College in a tri-match on Friday in The Golden Dome. The Raiders take on Green Mountain in the 4 o'clock opener.
