MONTCLAIR, NJ – Senior outside hitter
Toni Moppert paced Rutgers-Newark with a dozen kills, but Montclair State posted a 3-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference win in Panzer Arena. Game scores were 25-23, 25-18, 25-17.

Senior
Rose Anna Beljour notched 18 digs while freshman outside hitter
Ula Nieznalska posted 17 digs and four kills. Sophomore middle blocker
Rachel Witt chipped in eight kills and a pair of assisted blocks.
Moppert had eight kills as Rutgers-Newark hit .257 in game one only to lose after building a 19-9 lead. The Red Hawks put together a 13-2 run, fueled by Raider attack errors and four MSU aces to close out the frame.
The loss snapped a two-match winning streak for Rutgers-Newark while the Red Hawks (3-21, NJAC 2-3) ended a nine-match losing streak.
Saturday, Rutgers-Newark takes on the College of Notre Dame (MD) at 2:30 p.m. and host Centenary College at 4:30 in Hackettstown.
