Kat Renteria stopped nine shots as Rutgers-Newark battled to a 0-0 tie in double overtime against Kean in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match in Alumni Stadium.

In her first match back after missing four starts because of an ankle injury, Renteria matched goalkeeping skills with Kean's Leandra Russo who recorded five saves in the stalemate. The Cougars (8-2-3, NJAC 2-1-0) had a 22-14 edge in shots.
Renteria made three saves to help Rutgers-Newark go into the half in a scoreless deadlock. The Cougars out-shot the Raiders, 9-2, in the first 45 minutes. Freshman midfielder
