Angela Riscinti posted a shutout as Rutgers-Newark earned a doubleheader split with Stevens, 7-6 and 13-0, at the Weehawken Waterfront Park.

In the opener, the Scarlet Raiders (7-7) lost a 6-4 lead in the bottom of the seventh as the Ducks (3-11) took advantage of two Rutgers-Newark errors.
Ibarra, who went four for five, had an RBI single to key a 2-run sixth inning for the Raiders which gave them a 5-4 lead.
Senior centerfielder
Jessica Zelaya went two for four with a double and scored twice for Rutgers-Newark while freshman first baseman
Monica Bagan doubled to lead off the seventh and scored to give the Raiders a 6-4 lead. Rookie rightfielder
Nicole Odell had an RBI double and a bases-loaded walk.
In game two, senior catcher
Amber Affholter hammered a grand slam to key a 7-run seventh inning and freshman pitcher Riscinti hurled a 4-hit shutout. Riscinti (4-4) struck out four and walked three to post the first shutout of her career.
Ibarra went two for five with a 2-run double in the third inning and an RBI single in the seventh while sophomore shortstop
Tina Aita led of the 3-run third with a solo home run.
Bagan, whose RBI single capped the seventh inning outburst, went two for four with a pair of runs batted in while Zelaya singled twice, walked once and scored two times.
Rutgers-Newark begins New Jersey Athletic Conference play on Saturday, taking on Richard Stockton in Pomona at 1 p.m.
