Rachel Witt posted 13 kills and eight aces to help Rutgers-Newark rally past the College of Staten Island, 3-1, in the Sports and Recreation Center on Staten Island.

Witt tied sophomore teammate
Ula Nieznalska with a match-high 13 kills on her way to 21.0 points. She made just one attack error in 29 swings and notched a season-high in aces.
Nieznalska chipped in four of the Scarlet Raiders' team season-high 22 aces and tied sophomore
Paulina Walega with a team-high 11 digs. Walega added three aces.
Rutgers-Newark (5-16) snapped a three-match losing streak while the Dolphins fell to 2-15 on the season.

Michelle Jimenez contributed five kills apiece with Touzan adding an ace.
Vasiliki Stergioula led the Dolphins with six kills, an ace and 14 digs.
Rutgers-Newark completes its New Jersey Athletic Conference slate at Rowan University on Tuesday at 7 o'clock with a conference championship tournament still in play.
