NEWARK, NJ – Unbeaten Baruch College powered past Rutgers-Newark, 9-0, on The Golden Dome Courts in the Scarlet Raiders' season opener.

Sophomore top-flight singles and doubles player Raymond Postadan put up the best fight for the Raiders (0-1) against the Bearcats (3-0), falling to junior Aydar Suleymanov, 6-2, 6-2, after taking three games along with sophomore Rob Ramirez in doubles against Suleymanov and sophomore Christopher Jenkins.

Rutgers-Newark hosts Brooklyn College at 4 p.m. on Wednesday and City Tech on Saturday at 4 o'clock on The Golden Dome Courts.
