Raymond Postadan took the top-flight doubles, but the College of Staten Island claimed a 6-1, rain-shortened victory on The Golden Dome Courts.

Santos and Postadan ran their doubles record to 5-1 with their fourth straight victory, downing Joe Taranto and Masaru Takaki, 8-2, but the visiting Dolphins (10-4) controlled the other matches – except for two which were left unfinished when rain and wind ended play.

Rob Ramirez was deadlocked with Gary Ambartsumov, 7-6 (7-5), 2-3, on the fourth flight.
The Raiders (2-6) suffered their fifth straight loss.
Rutgers-Newark plays its final home match of the season on Thursday at 4 p.m. against Western Connecticut State University.
