Rajan Mandania keyed a 5-4 win over Brooklyn College on The Golden Dome Courts.

The duo each won their singles matches after battling to an 8-6 doubles win to provide three of the Scarlet Raiders' five points. The rookies stopped Michael Martone and Robin Varughese on the No. 2 doubles court as Rutgers-Newark (2-8) took two of three matches.
On the top-flight doubles court, senior
Gafar Ayinde and junior
William Cheung rolled to an 8-1 win over Matthew Micharlsen and Yeshen Shang.
Tejero stopped Varughese, 6-0, 6-4 on the No. 3 singles court while Mandania battled to a 7-5, 6-1 win over Deshi Wu in fourth flight singles.
Sophomore
Austin Gilker got the other singles victory with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Shang make the difference against the Bulldogs (1-10).
Rutgers-Newark is at The College of Staten Island on Sunday at 1 p.m. for another dual match.
