NEWARK, NJ – Rutgers-Newark senior Raymond Postadan won on No. 1 singles and doubles courts, but FDU-Florham posted a 5-4 win on The Golden Dome Courts.  The Devils (3-9) took two of three doubles matches to spell the difference as the teams split in singles play.

Postadan downed junior Kevin Kotsak, 6-0, 7-6 (7-3), on the top-flight singles court after joining sophomore Derence Tejero for an 8-5 victory over Mitch Gettis and Naser Mannan in doubles play.

Freshman Youssef Rizk stopped FDU freshman Nikola Radovic, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3, on the No. 4 court while senior Elijah Kim rolled past  junior Brian Rifici on the fifth flight to give the Raiders a split in singles play.

Rutgers-Newark (1-6) takes on Brooklyn College on the Roosevelt Courts in Brooklyn at noon on Saturday.
