Derence Tejero were defeated by Christopher Jenkins and Phillip Bleustein, 8-3, in top-flight doubles play. Tejero lost to Jenkins, 6-1, 6-1, on the No. 2 singles court.

Jose Polanco fell 6-2, 6-2 to freshman Michael Markin on the No. 6 singles court while Rutgers-Newark senior
Elijah Kim was swept by Bleustein, 6-1, 6-0, on the third flight. Baruch sophomore Samuel Hajibai downed junior
Ronald Luyo, 6-2, 6-0, on the fourth flight while Raider rookie
Matt Palka lost to freshman David Alabo on the No. 5 court.
The Raiders lost 8-1 decisions on the second and third doubles courts. Kim and Luyo were downed by Hajibai and Alabo while freshmen
Eison DeGuzman and
Stan Wu lost to Laskowski and junior Allen Meyerovich.
Rutgers-Newark visits York College on Friday at 4 p.m. in Jamaica, Queens, before hosting CCNY on The Golden Dome Courts the next afternoon at 1.
