NEWARK, NJ – Senior Raymond Postadan notched Rutgers University-Newark's lone singles victory as Mount Saint Mary came away with a 7-2 win on The Golden Dome Courts.

Postadan rallied past senior Greg Jacob, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, on the No. 1 court while junior Rajan Mandania and sophomore Youssef Rizk teamed for an 8-5 win in the third-flight doubles as the Scarlet Raiders slipped to 1-2 on the season.

The Knights (5-3) swept through the bottom five singles flights with junior Nate Dimmie leading the way with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Raider junior Derence Tejero.  Freshman Matt Palka took a second-set tie-breaker against junior Connor Bean for the only other 3-set decision in singles.

Rutgers-Newark hosts Pratt Institute at 6 p.m. Wednesday, St. Joseph's of Long Island on Friday and Brooklyn College on Saturday in the middle of a 5-match home stand for the Raiders.
