The Scarlet Raider junior edged senior Miles Murphy on the No. 3 singles court, 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-3), as the Roadrunners (7-4, GNAC 2-0) locked up a conference tournament berth. Rutgers-Newark (3-5, GNAC 0-1) suffered its third straight loss.

Raymond Postadan saw his 6-match winning streak snapped by Roadrunner senior Evan Clayton, 6-2, 7-5.
Ramapo rolled to straight set wins in the other four singles matches after losing just six games in collecting three doubles wins.
Rutgers-Newark hosts Rutgers-Camden on Tuesday and CCNY on Wednesday on The Golden Dome Courts. Both matches begin at 5 p.m.
