Box Score GALLOWAY, N.J. – After constructing a 10-point halftime lead, Rutgers University-Newark's upset bid against No. 13 Richard Stockton came up short as the Ospreys rallied for a 65-57 New Jersey Athletic Conference win in the RSC Sports Center.

Christian Garcia notched 10 of his team-high 14 points in the second half, but Stockton (16-2, NJAC 10-1) out-scored the visitors, 43-25, over the final 20 minutes to run its in-league victory streak to four. The Scarlet Raiders (13-5, NJAC 7-4) saw a run of three straight conference wins snapped as the Ospreys completed a regular-season sweep of Rutgers-Newark to stay in a first-place tie with William Paterson. The Raiders stayed alone in third place in the NJAC standings.

Jordan McDaniel netted all 13 of his points during the opening 20 minutes as the Raiders clawed out a 32-22 lead. Rutgers-Newark shot 57.9% (11-19) in the first period with sophomore guard
Darrian Collins dropping in two of three jumpers from beyond the arc to help the Raiders connect on four of six long range shots in the half. Stockton shot just 34.6% (9-26) in the period.
The Ospreys flipped the script in the second half, shooting 60% (15-25) from the floor and sinking seven of 11 shots from 3-point range to surge past the Raiders. Senior forward Josh Blamon, who finished with a game-high 21 points, knocked down four of five shots from beyond the arc in the second half to lead the way.
McDaniel and Garcia led Rutgers-Newark with seven rebounds apiece and Garcia added a team-high four assists. Senior guard
Chris Foreman came off the bench to drain three treys on his way to 11 points while senior guard
Doze Ikwuegbu chipped in seven points. Junior forward
David Azoroh pulled down six rebounds and netted four points while Collins was limited to six points and two assists.
Junior guard Armin Cane and senior forward Anthony Woodard combined for 25 points and 13 rebounds for Stockton while freshman guard Onnir Kendall dished off a game-high six assists. Freshman guard Zavon Johnson came off the bench to contribute eight points.
