NEWARK, N.J. (March 31, 2015) – The Rutgers-Newark men's volleyball team will welcome Continental Volleyball Conference foe and fourth-ranked Juniata College to The Golden Dome Arena Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
With a win, the Scarlet Raiders would improve to 9-1 in the CVC, tying the Eagles atop the conference standings with two matches left on the conference slate for R-N (16-8 overall, 8-1 CVC).
Since opening its home schedule at The Golden Dome on January 31, Rutgers-Newark has won 16-of-20 matches and is presently on a three-match winning streak. The Scarlet Raiders have come out on top in nine of their last 10 sets played and have won 6-of-7 overall.

Cody Chidsey eclipsed double-digit kills and hit .558, with junior setter
Kevin McCandless eclipsing 35 assists in each match.
Juniata will bring a record of 21-4 into the match and is a perfect 9-0 in the conference. The Eagles defeated Rutgers-Newark in Huntingdon, Pa. back on February 24, taking a five-set thriller after the Scarlet Raiders forced the match to five with wins in the third and fourth sets.
Admission to The Golden Dome Arena is free of charge with first serve set for 7 p.m. Prior to the match the Rutgers-Newark men's volleyball program will honor senior
Alex Barnhard as part of the annual Senior Night ceremony.
Between sets two and three, the Department of Athletics will honor senior members of the Scarlet Raiders' track & field programs.
