NEWARK, N.J. – Four members of the Rutgers-Newark men's volleyball team have been named to the 2026 Continental Volleyball Conference Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the conference office. This year's CVC Academic All-Conference Team featured 68 student-athletes from across the conference. Student-athletes are nominated by their head coaches and must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 during the academic year to be eligible for recognition. Representing Rutgers-Newark on the Academic All-Conference Team were Aleks Kolodziej, Alex Solodky, Adrian Marke, and Evan Jazmin.
Kolodziej paced the Scarlet Raiders with 236 kills while adding 162 digs during an outstanding season. Solodky contributed 142 kills and 77 digs, playing a key role in Rutgers-Newark's attack throughout the year.
Freshman Adrian Marke made an immediate impact, totaling 121 kills and 78 blocks in his debut campaign. Jazmin appeared in more than 36 sets for the Scarlet Raiders, recording 18 digs while providing valuable depth and consistency to the lineup.
The quartet helped the Scarlet Raiders compete throughout the 2026 season while excelling in the classroom, demonstrating the program's commitment to success both academically and athletically.
