NEWARK, N.J. (December 6, 2016) – The Rutgers University-Newark men's and women's basketball teams will host Ramapo College Wednesday night in The Golden Dome in a New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader beginning at 6 p.m.
 
In addition to the great Division III basketball, Rutgers-Newark will be hosting 'Holiday Night' and all fans in attendance are encouraged to wear their best ugly holiday sweater to the games. At halftime of both contests against the Roadrunners, fans wearing the best sweaters will be called to mid-court for a chance at a special Rutgers-Newark prize pack.
 
There will be some great holiday music in addition to the ugly sweater contest as the Scarlet Raider women look to even their NJAC record at 2-2, while the Scarlet Raider men look to move to 3-1 in the conference.
 
Fans unable to make the trip to The Golden Dome Wednesday night for the doubleheader can watch all the action live at www.rutgersnewarkathletics.com. The women tip-off at 6 p.m. and the men follow at 8 p.m.
