Box Score MAHWAH, N.J. | The Scarlet Raiders men's tennis team looked to string together a pair of wins today against Ramapo College but were unable to do so. The Roadrunners of Ramapo College downed Rutgers University-Newark 9-0 this afternoon to improve to 6-5, 2-0 GNAC while the Scarlet Raiders fell to 1-7, 0-2 GNAC. 

Veer Kachhiapatel and Richard Nguyen put up a fight on court one of doubles play but ultimately fell 8-3 to the Ramapo duo. Sebastian Narath and Alan Yu fell by the same score on the first court before Vihang Patel and Shridhar Amin fell in straight sets in the final doubles.

Nguyen tallied the highest point total in singles play for the Scarlet Raiders. Despite having the highest total, Nguyen still fell 6-3, 6-1.

The men's tennis team returns to action on Friday, April 19 against York College at 4:00 p.m. in Newark, NJ.
