NEWARK, NJ | The weather outside has been unseasonably warm to start-off the 2020 baseball campaign at Rutgers University-Newark and they will host Roger Williams University on Saturday, February 22 for their home opener on their brand new turf field, located at Weequahic Park in Newark, NJ. 

The Scarlet Raiders got an early start to their season when they split with Stevens Institute of Technology in a non-conference doubleheader on February 16 in Hoboken, NJ. The home opener on Saturday will be the first-ever meeting against Roger Williams. This home opener is the first of five-straight home games for the Scarlet Raiders as they won't hit the road again until Saturday, March 7. 

In the middle of March, the Scarlet Raiders will head south to Auburndale, Fl where they will play eight games in the Russ Matt Central Florida Invitational. Upon returning from Florida the Scarlet Raiders will take on Massachusetts Insititute of Technology before opening New Jersey Athletic Conference play on Saturday, March 28 against The College of New Jersey.

Senior day for the Scarlet Raiders will take place on Friday, April 24 when they play host to Ramapo College at 3:30 pm.
