Moore Records To Be Broken; #RUNXC Takes 13th At NCAA DIII Regional Championships

Logan Township, NJ | For the third time this season the fastest time in Rutgers University-Newark's history has been rewritten. Henry Moore finished in 23rd today at the NCAA DIII Regional Championships and was named All-Region. As a team, the Scarlet Raiders tallied 346 points, good for a 13th place finish, their highest finish in school history.

Moore finished with a time of 26:28.90 which broke the fastest current time held by his teammate Maninder Singh (26:34.59). Moore now holds three of the top-5 fastest times in school history in just his first season with the Scarlet Raiders. Singh took 39th with a time of 26:50.60 which becomes the 5th fastest time in school history.

Adam Abushanab gave the Scarlet Raiders a 61st place finish with a time of 27:26.40 while Cedric Augustin recorded a personal record with a time of 30:42.00. Rendell Amilcar also finished with a personal best after coming in 118th with a time of 30:46.30. Rounding out the race for the Scarlet Raiders was Kraig Ruff who finished with a time of 31:24.00.

In the women's race, the Scarlet Raiders had two participants. Gayathri Narayanan took 127th with a time of 27:33.60 while Brooke Bachia finished in 152nd with a time of 30:47.30.
