Personal Bests All Around As Women's Track & Field Participates In The Bill Fritz Invite

GLASSBORO, NJ
| The women's outdoor track & field squad went south to participate in the Bill Fritz Invitational at Rowan University on Saturday morning. 

Zrreyah Moore was outstanding this morning and took second in the 100m dash. She broke her personal best in the prelims with a time of 12.88 before topping that in the finals where she took second with a time of 12.80. Moore came back in the 200m for another second-place finish with yet another personal best time of 26.08. 

Pearl Oparebea ran her fastest time of the season in the 100 hurdles with a time of 17.62.

In the shot put, Shanil Auguste (10th, 19.93m) and Oghenefejiro Akiri (11th, 16.01m) both recorded a personal best distance. Both Auguste and Akiri participated in the hammer throw for the first time in their career and they took 10th and 11th, respectively, with throws of 19.93m and 16.01m. 

Akiri then hit another personal best in the discus with a toss of 28.83m, good for 8th. Auguste also threw a personal best in the discus with a throw of 26.36m.
