Jenkins-Floyd Earns Second NJAC Rookie of the Week

PITMAN, NJ | For the second time this season, Shy'Heed Jenkins-Floyd was named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week.

Jenkins-Floyd led the Scarlet Raiders to a narrow 63-58 win over Arcadia on Saturday, December 31 to pick up their second win in three games.

He shot 5-for-9 from the floor and 2-for-4 from behind the arc and tallied a team-high 15 points in the win. Jenkins-Floyd used his quickness on defense as well, as he picked up a team-high two steals. Jordan Salisbury gave the Scarlet Raiders the go-ahead basket as Jenkins-Floyd kept the Scarlet Raiders ahead with the final basket of the night.

The Scarlet Raiders men's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday, January 4 when they host William Paterson at 8:00 pm at The Golden Dome.
