LOGAN TWP., NJ | Adam Abushanab broke the Rutgers University-Newark cross country school record this morning at the NCAA Metro Regionals held at Rowan University.
Adam Abushanab clocked a time of 26:14.6, good for 47th, which broke the record set in 2021 by Henry Moore (26:28.90). Diego Gomes finished as the second-highest race for Rutgers-Newark, placing 159th (35:11.5). Cedric Augustin placed 162nd (35:40.3) while Samprit Bajracharya took 165th (36:22.6). Daniel Cortez rounded out the scoring for Rutgers-Newark by placing 166th (36:29.8).
