Igwe Stands Above the Rest at the Last Chance Meet

CHESTER, PA | Chidimma Igwe continues to ascend the ranks of the Scarlet Raiders roster as she picked up a gold medal at today's Last Chance Meet held by Widener.

Igwe earned gold in the 100m dash with a time of 12.26 to stand atop the podium. Carmelle Alexis ran a personal best in the 400m hurdles, running a time of 1:07.42, good for a 2nd place finish. Also running a personal best in the 400m hurdles was Brya Byrd who finished 6th with a time of 1:07.66.

Faith Remias recorded a 13th-place finish in the hammer throw with a toss of 36.14m.
