Holton Named NJAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year

PITMAN, NJ | For the second season in a row, Levi Holton was named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Co-Defensive Player of the Year.

Holton picks up his second major title for the Scarlet Raiders on the defensive end while also earning his first Second Team All-NJAC nod. Holton, more often than not, locked down his opposition, forcing his opponents to go in a different direction to find their points. Holton was a major reason why the Scarlet Raiders had a top-50 defense this season which allowed just 66.2 points per game.

Offensively, Holton averaged a career-high 14.7 points in conference play while also adding a team-high 6.5 rebounds per game. Holton ended his season with a Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Honorable Mention after recording three double-doubles in the final three games of the season.
