Women's Track & Field Set New Records at the Coach P Invite

BETHLEHEM, PA | The women's track and field team continues to raise the bar as they set new records at the Coach P Invite on Saturday afternoon.

Chidimma Igwe started the day by breaking the 100m dash record with a time of 11.95 good for first place. Zrreyah Moore would then go on to break the school record in the 400m with a time of 56.44. In the 200m, Nadya Coleman gave the Scarlet Raiders and 15th-place finish with a time of 27.01.

Yumna Elsherif finished 44th in the 800m with a time of 4:09.64. Carmelle Alexis broke the school record she just set in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.30 while Brya Byrd took 7th with a time of 16.04. Alexis' record-setting day continued when she stamped her name into the books once again, this time in the 400m hurdles. Alexis finished 4th with a time of 1:06.09.

The 4x100 relay team (Byrd, Coleman, Igwe, Moore) set the school record with a time of 48.39. In the shot put, Shanil Auguste placed 3rd with a throw of 11.35m. Faith Remias placed 22nd in the hammer throw with a distance of 33.02m.
