EWING, NJ | The Rutgers-Newark women's outdoor track & field team participated in the TCNJ Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Zrreyah Moore (12.49) and Chidimma Igwe (12.64) took first and second in the 100m dash for the Scarlet Raiders. Nadya Coleman (10th, 13.12) Nydia Jackson (23rd, 13.74), and Chandelle Lawrence (30th, 14.02) rounded out the event for Rutgers-Newark.
In the 800m, Yumna Elsherif finished 46th with a time of 4:12.74. Carmelle Alexis placed 7th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:09.28 while Brya Byrd was close behind with a time of 1:09.65. Shanil Auguste placed 15th in the shot put with a distance of 11.33m.
